Twenty-four-year-old Dean Weymes from the UK is set for life after winning a National Lottery game which awards a top prize of £10,000 a month for the next 30 years.
The ex-Amazon worker has become the first person to scoop the top prize since the game was launched in March 2019 with winning numbers 18, 21, 23, 34, and 39, and Life Ball number 3 on Monday's draw.
He said, "I have always wanted to fulfil my dream to become a scriptwriter, and this now allows me the freedom to do it.
"I didn't have to give it a second thought — I quit my current role so I can begin to work on the job I have always wanted."
With long shifts at tech giant Amazon now a thing of the past, the hardworking young man is now financially free and able to pursue his desired lifestyle.
The lucky winner says top of his bucket list is a hot air balloon ride and a tandem skydive: "I cannot actually believe that I am really going to be able to do these things — and do them right now.
"Everything still seems quite unreal — the news really is still sinking in."
"I have a trip already booked for Disneyland Paris with my sister, brother-in-law and nephew — and this win will mean lots of extra spending money," Dean added.
"I am now worry-free for the rest of my life."
Set For Life is drawn twice weekly on Monday's and Thursday's. To win the top prize players must guess and match 5 numbers from 47 and one life number from 1 to 10. As well as the top prize of £10,000 a month for thirty years the game awards £10,000 a month for one year as a second prize for matching five main numbers.
In total there are eight prize levels with the last level requiring two main numbers to be matched to win £5. Players must be 16 or over and physically located in the UK or Isle of Man to enter Set For Life at the UK National Lottery.
