The clock is still ticking and with one week left to claim a huge EuroMillions prize of £53,622, lottery players in the UK are being urged to check and re-check their numbers for the drawing on 26th October 2018.
The winning ticket which was bought in the city of Liverpool matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star number in the draw which produced numbers 5, 18, 21, 31, 35 and Lucky Star numbers 6 and 9 but unbelievably, so far no one has come forward to claim the prize.
Andy Carter, a UK National Lottery official, said, “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize , but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.
"We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing EuroMillions ticket could be hiding. This life-enhancing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.”
Failure to meet the claim deadline on Wednesday, 24 April 2019 will result in a devastating outcome for the lucky winner as the ticket will be null and void and money will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
The UK National Lottery are calling out to anyone who believes they have the winning ticket to get in touch before the 180-day deadline by calling the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or by emailing help@national-lottery.co.uk.
