Jason Goreski, a 48-year-old father of two from Ontario, Canada has just won $33.4 million but has no plans to retire after only recently buying a heating and cooling company.
Goreski who bought the winning ticket at the Circle K on 9th Street in Owen Sound won his millions in the February 2nd Lotto 6/49 draw, Ontario's gaming operator announced Monday.
"When I noticed I had matched four numbers in a row, I started to shake," he said in a news release from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. (OLG).
"Then I saw that the last two numbers matched and that's when things started to get a bit hectic. I asked my girlfriend to come and check the numbers again and she couldn't believe it either." Goreski said to the press.
While $33.4 million is a handy pot of money for anyone's retirement, Goreski is not planning to down tools anytime soon.
"I have 12 to 15 people and their families depending on me, so I will continue on with the expansion and with work," Goreski said. "However, this windfall will definitely help make my future and that of my family much easier."
