The UK National Lottery is desperate to find a mystery ticket-holder who won £98k from the EuroMillions draw that took place on August 21st.
Despite numerous appeals, the winner has yet to come forward to claim the massive win. The click is ticking fast to February 17th 2021 when the prize will expire and the money handed over to good causes.
At time of writing all we know is that the ticket was purchased from a retailer in the Newport area of the UK and the lucky winner matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number to win the prize.
The winning numbers on the EuroMillions draw that evening were 10, 15, 35, 44, 50 and the Lucky Star numbers were 3 and 5.
Andy Carter, from the National Lottery said, “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“We’re encouraging everyone to check their tickets online via The National Lottery website or via The National Lottery App where possible, or in their local shop. You can scan your retail draw-based game tickets on The National Lottery App to see if you’ve won a prize.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
