Late last year former taxi driver Melissa Ede won a cool £4 million on a UK National Lottery scratchcard and has not stopped smiling since. However, it appears life isn't always picture-perfect even as a millionaire!
Melissa hasn't got the pearly white smile she has always dreamed of so she is in the market for a new smile.
She is now planning a £40,000 complete dental makeover that will take a long 10 hours in the dentists chair to complete.
“My teeth have affected me in a bad way,” she admitted.
“I don’t like to smile because they are so manky. I’ve decided to show everyone my horrible teeth now – because come January nobody is going to recognise me. It’s going to be a big, perfect smile.
“I’m going to have implants, the dentist is planning to pull out 15 teeth and eight roots. I was going to go for the bright, bright white Rylan-style teeth but I’ve gone against that.
“I’ve gone with the dentist’s advice, what she feels will look best on me.”
Melissa who takes a salary of $6500 per month from her fortune says she is not scared of the dentist and is just looking forward to showing off her new smile next year.
Before her life changing win Melissa used to earn £650 per month as a taxi driver, now she has invested her £4 million win she says she is careful with her money, and still shops at Primark.
Melissa has also used her winning's to fund:
- Botox
- Lip and Cheek Fillers
- 500,000 on a five-bed home
- 33,000 on a BMW car
- 170,000 on a detached house for her best friend
