The hunt is on for a TattsLotto $1 million prize winner who purchased the winning ticket in Coburg Hub Lotto, in December last year and has yet to claim their windfall.
Lottery officials are urging players that a bought ticket from the store three days before Christmas to look everywhere for old tickets that have not been checked.
Look under sofa cushions, in pockets, at the back of drawers everywhere! If you have already checked your tickets check again!
TattsLotto spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said: 'You may not think it's possible that you could be the unregistered division one winner we are looking for, but if you purchased an entry in last month's TattsLotto draw that you haven't checked yet, you're in with a chance."
The actual amount waiting to be claimed amounts to a staggering $1,018,499.24 and is one of four division one entries from the draw.
Prokash Kunda, the owner of the Coburg Hub Lotto where the ticket was purchased is struggling to understand why the new millionaire has not yet come forward.
'We've been telling everyone to check their tickets! A few people have been speculating about the delay in our winner coming forward. Are they on holidays? Or have they lost the ticket? We hope not!"
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3905 on Saturday 22nd December 2018 were 5, 14, 41, 29, 43 and 9, while the supplementary numbers were 37 and 15.
