The winner of a £1.8million EuroMillions prize has come forward more than five months after the winning draw in October last year.
The single ticket holder has claimed the cash after matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star number to win their life-changing prize.
Camelot's Andy Carter, from the National Lottery, said, “We’re delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win.
It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this life-changing amount of money. We would like to remind all National Lottery players to check their tickets every time they play.”
The lucky winner has come forward just in time. If a valid EuroMillions claim is not received within 180 days of the draw date, the cash goes to support National Lottery Projects across the UK.
EuroMillions is drawn on Tuesday and Friday evenings, offering world lotto players an opportunity to take home the top prize or any of the 12 amazing secondary prizes in the upcoming EuroMillions draw!
Record jackpots include €183 Million (US$247 million) both in February and November of 2006. €130 Million in February and September of 2007 and in February and September of 2008. €185 Million in July of 2011 and €190 Million in August of 2012, October of 2014 and October 2017.
