This remarkable story has been reported by the Maryland lotto revealing that a Baltimore man has won not one, not two but three $50,000 top prizes from the Bonus Match 5 drawing on January 22nd.
And in a strange twist of fate, the lucky player also cashed in a few smaller prizes from other number combinations, bringing his total winnings from the same draw to $151,415.
The winning numbers that day on the Bonus Match 5 game were 2, 10, 11, 25, and 31 and the man had three tickets that matched all five numbers. It's true!
After his win the man explained to Maryland Lottery officials the numbers represent important birthdays and that's what lead him to purchase multiple tickets in each number combination.
