A lucky husband and wife from Southeastern Massachusetts have defied incredible odds to win the lottery three times with Massachusetts State Lottery instant tickets.
The first win came in April of 2014 when the pair banked $1 million after husband Kevin purchased a ticket at Trucchi's Supermarket, 438 West Grove Street in Middleborough.
Just over two years later in September 2016 Kevin hit the $1 million jackpot again from a ticket bought at Shaw's, 95 Washington St. in Canton and the couples amazing run of luck continues in 2019.
On Monday, wife Janet Pflaumer-Phillips of Lakeville collected a $1 million prize from a $30 "Diamond Millions" instant ticket she purchased at A&A Petro, 381 West Grove St. in Middleborough.
Rather than buy extravagant cars and holidays the wealthy couple are now planning to help family and friends with her money, according to the Massachusetts Lottery.
If you think you can beat the odds there are 78 additional $1 million prizes remaining in the "Diamond Millions" instant ticket game, according to the Lottery.
