North Carolina lottery bosses have put out an urgent call for Cash 5 ticket holders to check their lotto slips as a $487,105 prize is due to expire.
"Let's get the word out that this Cash 5 jackpot is still waiting to be claimed," said Mark Michalko, executive director of N.C. Education Lottery, in a news release. "Whoever had the great luck to win this prize deserves to get it. Check your Cash 5 tickets so we can get this jackpot to the person who won it."
The winning ticket is set to expire if not produced to lottery headquarters on Capital Boulevard in Raleigh on or before July 8th.
The ticket refers to the draw on 9th January; it was purchased from the Circle K on South Main Street in Lillington, North Carolina. Cash 5 results from the draw were 7, 22, 23, 29, and 32.
Cash 5 winners have 180 days to claim a prize.
