NZ Lotto player wins $9 million on Powerball

Christmas has come a month early for one lucky lotto player after scooping a massive $9 million on New Zealand's Powerball game.

The lucky winner's good fortune came on Wednesday night with winning numbers 02, 03, 14, 29, 30, 35. Bonus 09. Powerball 09. Strike numbers: 35, 03, 29, 14.

The identity of the winner has not been revealed but we do know that the winning ticket was sold at Redwood Lotto in Blenheim and is made up of $8 million from Powerball First Division and $1 million from Lotto First Division.

The NZ Powerball jackpot has been reset to $5 million for the next draw which takes place on Saturday 28th November.
