One of the oldest lotteries in the world, the Spanish La Primitiva Lottery was started in 1763 by the Marquis of Esquilache but the game we know today has been in play since 1985.
When you play this Spanish lottery, you also select a unique number known as the Reintegro number, which can be anything between 0 and 9.
The Reintegro number must be matched along with all other numbers in the main draw to win the jackpot. Matching the Reintegro determines official lottery ticket price refunds. Matching the bonus number is necessary to win a 5+1 cash prize.
